Product Manager · Portland, OR

I turn ambiguous problems into shipped, measured products.

Seven years in product across consumer digital, B2B marketplaces, and internal tooling — preceded by five in operations and finance, which is where I learned to follow the money. $32M+ in recurring revenue impact so far.

Now: Senior PM, KinderCare Impact: $22M+ ARR feature · 2X team velocity · 50% fraud cut Certified: CSPO, Scrum Alliance

$22M+
new annual recurring revenue from one feature

Tour scheduling that met families where they decide

Families choose a childcare center the way they choose anything high-stakes: slowly, with a person they trust, at the moment they're ready. The old flow made them work on the company's schedule.

I mapped the full journey, found the touchpoints where a better design would change the outcome, and shipped a family-facing scheduling experience around how parents actually compare options. It became the largest single driver of new ARR I've shipped, and it changed how the company prices similar work.

$10M
recurring-value transformation across 10 teams

Aligning ten teams behind one number

A business transformation only ships when ten teams row in the same direction. I owned the roadmap for a $10M recurring-value initiative spanning design, engineering, operations, and product leadership — including two concurrent Scrum pipelines I ran without letting either slip.

The part I'm proudest of: the executive business reviews. I defended the roadmap in front of the C-suite by tying every line of it to business outcomes, and secured the investment to keep it funded.

50%
fraud reduction from a rebuilt chargeback process

Cutting fraud in half, then telling Engineering why it mattered

Before product, I owned payments fraud and chargebacks. I rebuilt the chargeback process end to end and cut fraud by half — then championed the user-centric fixes to Engineering, because a fraud process that treats every customer as a suspect just moves the loss somewhere else.

It's still the clearest education I got in how back-office decisions show up as front-line experiences.

B2B
e-learning marketplace vision + KPIs, company-wide buy-in

Vision and KPIs for a two-sided marketplace

I set product vision and KPIs for a B2B e-learning marketplace with executive leadership and external partners, then led discovery and scoping for the epics that followed — balancing buyer, seller, and partner priorities in a high-growth, partner-driven environment.

The discipline that stuck: sequencing the roadmap to maximize customer value within real capacity constraints, not the version that fits in a deck.

How I work

Learned the hard way

01Backlogs are promises

A user story without real acceptance criteria is a wish. I write tickets engineers don't need to decode, then follow up until requirements actually land.

02Ship small, learn fast

Iterative releases beat perfect launches. I'd rather show rough work and correct course than burn a week polishing something that's off-track.

03Metrics before opinions

Track the KPIs that tell you whether something's working, and let them pick what's next. Roadmaps defended with numbers survive reorgs.

04Ask until it's obvious

I dig into domains I haven't worked in and keep asking good-natured questions until the why is as clear as the what. Engineers trust that.

About

The short version

I'm a product manager in Portland, Oregon. I came to product the long way — financial analysis at Intel, fraud operations at SurveyMonkey — which means I learned to follow the money before I learned to write user stories. It's a background I use constantly: product decisions are business decisions, and I like being able to defend both.

At KinderCare I've grown from Product Owner to Senior PM across consumer-facing digital products, coaching newer PMs along the way. I like the player-coach shape of the work: deep in the backlog with engineers most days, and in front of executives when the roadmap needs defending.

Outside work: Oregon State double degree (Marketing + International Business), strength training, and reading things unrelated to roadmaps.

The fastest way to reach me is email.

I'm currently open to senior product and manager-of-product roles, remote from the US. If you'd rather talk live, my number is on my résumé.
